I nuovi poster di The Lone Ranger ritraggono i visi di Armie Hammer nei panni del cavaliere solitario e di Johnny Depp, nei panni dell’indiano Comanche Tonto,

“In un certo senso, stiamo cercando di fare per l’occidentale quello che abbiamo fatto per il film Pirati dei Caraibi 10 anni fa: rinfrescare e rinvigorire totalmente certi aspetti tradizionionali, ma spingendosi diversi passi oltre “, sostiene Bruckheimer.
Un nuovo trailer per il film sarà rivelato il 17 aprile, seguita da una sessione di Q & A globale con Depp, Hammer, Bruckheimer e Verbinski.

“He makes for one sexy Lone Ranger,” says Bonham Carter.
Depp’s poster shows his unique take on Tonto, who is a Comanche shaman.
“This is not the look you want to wake up to in the middle of the night and see hovering over you,” Depp told USA TODAY from The Lone Ranger set.

Depp’s Tonto is also very much the Lone Ranger’s equal in the new version of the story.
“The poster makes it very clear that this man is a determined warrior with his own very strong and distinct personality,” says Bruckheimer. “The war paint indicates that Tonto is on some kind of mission.”
Even the crow on Depp’s head is “a very important element” in the story,” says Bruckheimer.
It’s all part of re-imagining the Western with the same team behind 2003′s Pirates of the Caribbean — Depp, Bruckheimer and director Gore Verbinski.
“To some degree, we’re trying to do for the Western what we did for the pirate movie genre 10 years ago with Pirates of the Caribbean — totally refresh and reinvigorate it by respecting the traditions of the genre, but taking it several steps beyond,” says Bruckheimer.
A new trailer for the film will be revealed on April 17, followed by a global Q&A with Depp, Hammer, Bruckheimer and Verbinski.
